LSHTM Week: What are discrete choice experiments (DCEs)? An introduction and some interesting applications

Date: Tuesday 18 September Location: LG80, Keppel Street

Interested in understanding why people make different choices?

Not sure of the best way to maximise uptake in a trial or implementation?

Heard of discrete choice experiments but not quite sure how to why to use them?

The session provides an overview of discrete choice experiments (DCEs), led by the Preferences and Behaviour Theme from the Centre for Health Economics in London (CHIL). It introduces the background and theory of DCEs, gives some ideas of how they can inform health programmes and research studies, and an overview of how to do them. It is designed for non-specialists and those interested in potentially applying DCEs in their work. The session consists of a series of short presentations followed by discussion.

You can watch the session back online.
